304 Stainless steel sculpture

Sculpture introduction:

This 304 Stainless steel sculpture is fabricated for a Chinese artist in 2016. It took roughly 3 months to design, fabricate and install the artwork. The whole piece is 4 meters (13ft) long with mirror polished surface treatment. All material applied is stainless steel, 316L stainless steel for exterior surface and 304 stainless steel for interior structure. Stainless steel is a permanent material with super corrosion resistance so that the sculpture would have a long life. This artwork is of a rock shape with natural rocky pattern in mirror polishing finishing and things reflect on it amusingly as unsmooth surface makes all things deformed. It is also like a falling stone with a natural hole, leaving it an imperfect figure of unknown perception to people. No one knows what happened to the rock but it is predictable what will happen in the future.
