 Sculpture Introduction:

The dome-designed building has a long history and is a design feature of many different types of buildings in the world. The dome is a prominent feature of Persian, Roman, Byzantine, Islamic and Italian Renaissance designs.

For modern people, they are more familiar with religious buildings, European-style buildings, and buildings with national culture, such as the Lama temple on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China.

However, recently years, Gold dome become more an more popular in our life, not only because of its shiny appearance, but also more solid inner structure.

For gold dome, copper is a good choice on the material and then brass, due to its original material color is very similar to golden color, even if the golden paint or golden color of the surface is damaged a little over time, it will not have much impact on the whole outside appearance. Besides, dome normally with curved surface and spire, so for large part curve surface normally we adopt 4-5mm thickness copper panel, and detail spire part much thinner. While for internal structure, SS304 is the first choice due to its corrosion resistance and facilitates later maintenance as well as longer life time.

Gold dome could be presented in thousands of designs, in old times, there are Corbel dome, crossed-arch dome, geodesic dome, monolithic dome, Onion dome, Oval dome and etc.....  

It’s the same today, and all those types domes which surface could be decorated with gold painting, gold leaf coating by deep optimization on its structure and making.
