Building can be well-formed or in a variety of forms. The Cathedral of St.Mary of Neviges(also known as the pilgrimage church) stands in the forest, and the jagged concrete blocks are looked so charming. The cathedral is located in a very popular pigrimage site in western Germany.

Although the cathedral is located in a relatively small, relatively small community, it is very large. Böhm is a famous German expressionist who believes that religious architecture can evoke emotional responses from the viewer at any time. People who come by rail, road or on foot can see the concrete structure of the mountain shape from a distance. The path leading to the church is a wall on one side and the office and convent on the other, creating a formal sense of parade as the pilgrims travel to the last part of the church.

If you don't pay attention to the metal cross at the highest point of the cathedral, this spectacular concrete structure does not look like a church at all. According to Böhm, the zigzag amorphous body consists of a series of pressed concrete cubes and quadrangular pyramids, designed to symbolize the mountainous terrain. (However, people sometimes think that the shape of the cathedral is more like a concrete iceberg than the verdant hills of the Rhine River.
