Len Lye Museum, located in New Zealand is the only museum in New Zealand dedicated to a single artist. It is designed by pattersons architects, pays tribute to the thoughts, writings and works of the late filmmaker and sculptor Len lye. The flowing, shimmering façade of stainless steel metal not only recalls the dynamics and light in lye's work, but also highlights its relationship to the region and industrial innovation. The space establishes a link between art and architecture, religiously focusing on the unique sensory experience gained from light as a "temple" of art.
