This memorial bronze statue with surface patina, is cast by bronze and total 2.3 meters high. It was fabricated to commemorate the famous Ethiopian singer Hachalu Hundess. Hachalu was born as a singer, but focused on singing for the rights of the Oromo, the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia, and was killed in the capital Addis Ababa in June last year. This bronze memorial statue was finally installed in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, and will be presented to the public on the day of the Mayor's Inauguration this month.
