Mirror Stainless Steel Facade Discovery Slide

Introduction:

The stainless steel slide is fabricated for Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4 in 2018. The large piece applies stainless steel 316L for exterior surface and galvanized carbon steel for interior structure. It took roughly 5 months to optimize and fabricate it and another 5 months to install it on site. This stainless steel slide artwork, which surface is high mirror polished reflective, total 21 meters long, 15 meters wide and 7 meters high. It is shaped by hand forging, works as the facade of slide as well as a platform, which is one of the most attractive points, where people can walk on it, enjoy the slide and overlook the whole scene. The mirror polished surface reflects the wonderful views around and embodies a wider space looking in such rich forest-like decorated entertainment venue, magnifying the treasure childlike innocence.
