Sculpture Introduction:

Now what we would like to introduce you is carbon steel sculpture. This kind of carbon steel sculpture also with rusted surface. Then how to do the rust surface treatment, the same as corten-steel by natural? The answer is not exactly correct. Memorial column- is a carbon steel sculpture made for Chinese artist, installed in atomic city Qinghai, China at 2008. Since we received the design, total take 6 months to optimize, fabricate, and install.. The whole complete sculpture which height is 25 meters (82ft), made of Q345B carbon steel for both surface skin and internal structure, and then applying chemicals to the surface to make it rust and rust day by day, its rust color just like a natural rusted corten-steel, beautiful and unique. Such a large project, we also use hand forging crafts to finish it, so that the surface line and flatness will be more neat, Like a big pillar, so majestic in the distance.
