 Sculpture Introduction:

Love Me is a Polished Mirrored Stainless Steel sculpture by Richard Hudson Height: 8 meters, The sculpture was installed in 2016 at the Donum Estate Sculpture Park in Sonoma, California. Hua Metal crafted the surface panels of the sculpture in 316L stainless steel plate. The internal structure is made of 304 stainless steel. Richard Hudson is an international artist who respects the craftsmanship spirit and has a high demand for his sculptures all over the world. Hua-metal finished the fabrication of the sculpture to the highest possible standard to Richard Hudson’s satisfaction and Hua-metal.

Compare to fabrication, the site installation work is more difficult due to the unfamiliar environment. It total takes us about 3 months to complete the assembling and final mirror polishing treatment. Its stand height is 8 meters and the effect of the whole completion is with a deep cavity in its center, as if the form was hit hard by a powerful force, and meanwhile with a corresponding mound on the other side.

"In my monumental sculpture of 'Love Me,' I have taken this emblematic symbol and metamorphosed it to represent the creation of the Universe through a black hole, together with the creation of life at the moment of conception," Mr. Hudson explains. "I ask the viewer to 'reflect' with the polished mirrored steel surface on the wonderment of this world and nature's beauty all around."
